Supplement Manager
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Natural Vitality Center, sister company of Vaughan Integrative Medicine; including maintenance of computer inventory system, supervision of supplement store and special projects as assigned.
- Place retail orders (scheduled patients, walk-ins, phone-calls, emails and website) daily and fulfill within 24 hours.
- Act as liaison for retail customers and in-house patients by answering questions in relation to supplement purpose, dosage and general health practice policies.
- Order supplement inventory in a timely manner to keep shelves properly stocked to fulfill patient, and retail customer needs.
- Stock inbound supplement inventory, update received items, and enter bills (computerized software).
- Reconcile daily receipts/sales and cash-register(s) balance for the NVC Supplement Store.
- Timely updates to and maintenance of physical inventory stock and through retail software program.
- Create/update and timely processing of purchase orders for supplements utilizing retail software.
- Work closely with accounting department to perform other accounting functions directly pertaining to the Natural Vitality Center supplement store, maintenance, payables and receivables processing and accountability.
Requirements
Extensive working knowledge of pharmaceutical, whole food and herbal supplements used in the natural alternative healthcare industry.
- Strong retail sales experience, preferably natural products & supplement industry.
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to anticipate customer needs.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
- Strong computer proficiency: Internet; MSOffice; QuickBooks; QuickBooks POS.
- Supplement industry inventory maintenance, record-keeping (computerized) and purchase order processing experience.
- Ability/willingness to work weekends and overtime as required.
- Research new products for detail information and pricing per customer/patient requests, special requests by Dr. Vaughan and VIM staff.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate paperwork and take payment for Natural Vitality Center services.
- Keep supplement area clean, organized and presentable.
Temp to Hire - Full Time position
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am to 6:00pm, Friday as needed

A Certified Pharmacy Technician with Compounding experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Counting, pouring and mixing pharmaceuticals; placing pharmaceutical products in appropriate containers and affixing labels to containers
- Mixing IV solutions, bio-identical hormone replacement therapies, etc
- Monitoring prescription inventory for expired pharmaceuticals that must be returned to manufacturer
- Maintaining adequate inventory levels of pharmaceuticals to meet patient demand
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers; securing competitive pricing on all pharmacy supplies
- Ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies
- Receiving prescriptions and obtaining information from patients at pharmacy window; using a computerized system, entering prescription data to create a patient profile
- Answering telephones and taking messages for patient refill requests and related pharmacy business
- Maintaining the pharmacy in a clean and orderly condition
- Providing excellent customer service to all patients and medical professionals via phone or in person
- Preserving confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) as mandated by HIPAA
- Maintaining pharmacy filing systems (hard copy, signature logs, invoices)
- Preparing and tracking delivery instructions and invoices to assist common carriers responsible for delivery
Requirements
Pharmacy technician license in good standing in North Carolina
MUST have a minimum of 2 years Retail Pharmacy experience & compounding experience
Familiarity with integrative medicine a plus
Knowledge of common medical terms/abbreviations and pharmacy calculations
Possess a professional appearance and excellent interpersonal communication skills
Successful candidates will have a positive attitude and be committed to team development
